Weekend Hit and Run: Main Event Final Table Tonight, Four New Bracelets Awarded, and Negreanu Runner-Up Again

All the poker world can talk about this week is the WSOP Main Event final table which kicks off Sunday night in Las Vegas. The final table will be spread over three days, and will finish up on Tuesday. But even while Main Event rolls on, other events are being played and other bracelets awarded. Several this weekend alone including Keith Tilston winning the 100K High Roller, which meant denying Daniel Negreanu more hardware yet again. This weekend saw the World Series of Poker in full force, and an incredible FOUR bracelets were awarded on Saturday alone. On Friday night Femi Fashakin won the Big 50 (the largest poker tournament of all time) for over $1.1 million. Isaac Baron captured his first bracelet in the $1,500 6-max event. Murilo Souza came back to claim victory in the $1,500 HORSE event. Brett Apter won his first bracelet in the $1,500 Shootout. And Sean Swingruber dominated the 10K Heads-Up. Meanwhile Robert Mizrachi leads the $10,000 Omaha Eight or Better final table and big names advance in the 10K Deuce.
