This weekend saw the World Series of Poker in full force, and an incredible FOUR bracelets were awarded on Saturday alone. On Friday night Femi Fashakin won the Big 50 (the largest poker tournament of all time) for over $1.1 million. Isaac Baron captured his first bracelet in the $1,500 6-max event. Murilo Souza came back to claim victory in the $1,500 HORSE event. Brett Apter won his first bracelet in the $1,500 Shootout. And Sean Swingruber dominated the 10K Heads-Up. Meanwhile Robert Mizrachi leads the $10,000 Omaha Eight or Better final table and big names advance in the 10K Deuce. The biggest tournament series this weekend was the 2019 partypoker MILLIONS LIVE North America in Montreal, and after four intense days, it's Kevin Rabichow leading the main event final table. As is usually the case on the poker calendar this time of year, there was precious little to report on in the way of tournaments. The WSOP is right around the corner and this week is the calm breath before the storm. But of course there were still plenty of goings on. Panagiotis Panagiotidis won the PokerNews Cup for €18,450.
