Kahle Burns wins $25k NLHE, Soverel Wins Poker Masters Jacket
Kahle Burns was victorious in Poker Masters Event #9, the $25,000 No Limit Hold’em on Wednesday night taking home a first place prize of $416,500 after edging Ali Imsirovic heads-up ($269,500). Also at the final table were Sean Winter, Sam Soverel, Elio Fox and David Peters.
With Sam Soverel’s 4th place finish and the $50k Main Event at a final table, Soverel has clinched the Poker Masters Leaderboard title. Soverel finished first in the $25,000 Pot Limit Omaha (Event #7) but also has finished in in the top six six times – three fourth place finishes, one fifth place finish and a sixth place finish.

Chris Hunichen leads the $50,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event final table with Sam Soverel just behind as those remain fight for the $680,000 first place prize. Joining Hunichen are Sam Soverel, Seth Davies, Stephen Chidwick, Elio Fox and Ali Imsirovic.
