Quick poker play has been the standard so far in the heads-up No Limit Hold’em High Stakes Feud.
High stakes poker players Doug Polk and Daniel Negreanu are establishing a new standard for “quick” poker play during their High Stakes Feud sessions.
SESSION #1 (LIVE): 200 hands ÷ 213 minutes played = 0.94 hands per minute — 1 table
SESSION #2 (ONLINE): 424 hands ÷ 124 minutes played = 3.42 hands per minute — 2 tables
SESSION #3 (ONLINE): 382 hands ÷ 122 minutes played = 3.13 hands per minute — 2 tables
* Hands-per-minute times do not take into consideration player breaks.
Quick Poker Play Preferred by Viewers
One of the more recurring gripes over the years (especially live) has been that viewers often become disengaged, or even bored when competitors “tank” or “stall” when making a decision.
Such complaints have not been brought forth within the active Polk vs. Negreanu discussion thread on the TwoPlusTwo NVG forums.
Calculating Doug Polk’s Hourly Rate
Doug Polk currently leads the High Stakes Feud by approximately $268,000 following 1,006 hands.
Got my hand caught in the cookie jar early, but we rallied back for another strong session (+$166,239.03 over 382 hands)
This brings the total up to +$268,031.82 over 1006 hands. So far so good!

268031.82 ÷ 459 minutes = $583.95 per-minute winrate
$583.95 per-minute winrate x 60 minutes per hour = $35,037 hourly winrate
* Totals are approximate.

Could another live session between Polk and Negreanu be in the cards?
Is Doug on pace to haul-in $6.6 million dollars from the High Stakes Feud?
Will the match be stopped once the competitors have played the initial 12,500 hands?
Answers to these questions and more could be forthcoming in the remaining weeks of 2020.
I’ll take 10 to 1 on @RealKidPoker since all you trolls think he can’t win after 1k hands! Dm me with cash if interested!
