Sow Wins PSC Prague Main Event

Kailou Sow is the winner of the PokerStars Championship Prague Main Event after he outlasted a field of 855 to win €675,000.

In the victory, Sow beat Jason Wheeler heads-up but not before the two agreed to a deal which guaranteed €570,000 in prize money to the pair.

The event marked the last PokerStars Championship of 2017 and one of the final PokerStars branded events before the return of the European Poker Tour, Asian Pacific Poker Tour and the Latin American Poker Tour next year.

– In a recent interview with PokerNews, Daniel Negreanu reacted to the announcement of the PokerStars Players No Limit Hold’em championship by saying it is just what players are looking for. “I think it’s awesome. Really, when you think about it from a poker player’s perspective, what do they want out of a tournament?”
