-Y’all know what time it is? Cardplayerlifestyle.com time, baby. And over on the poker blog Tadas Peckaitis has a fun article talking about the poker games that let you unwind a little bit. We’re talking about the “Top 3 Poker Games That You Can Find In The Casino.” Sure, games against the house may not be as profitable, but sometimes they can be a little more fun.

-Meanwhile over on PocketFives, there’s a fun article talking about everyone’s favorite Brazilian pro Vivian Saliba and her respect for everyone’s favorite Finn Patrik Antonius. It’s all part of the P5’s series interviewing pros about pros that they admired coming up. Vivian says, “Patrik Antonius had a very professional approach at the poker table and booked constant wins. Tom Dwan and Ivey used to impress me because of their very aggressive style, crazy bluffs, and unbelievable reads.”
-New to poker? If so then CardPlayer has an article you need to check out. It’s Jonathan Little’s beginner’s guide to counting outs at the table. In the article you can find really helpful information about calculating pot odds, what percentage of the time you’ll win, and what the right play will be correct accordingly. For example: “Suppose your opponent goes all-in for $100 into a $100 pot on the Q-7-4-J turn and you have 6-5. Knowing you probably need to improve to a straight to win, you can figure out if you can profitably make the call. To figure out how often you need to win to justify calling, divide the amount you have to call (100 in this case) by the current pot (100) plus the bet you are facing (100) plus the amount you have to call (100). 100/(100+100+100) = 33%. So, if your draw will arrive on the river 33 percent of the time or more, you can profitably call.”
-And finally over on PokerCentral, they’re having a great time reliving some past WSOP glory. In the latest installment the article and accompanying video discuss the Top Five hands from the 2012 WSOP Main Event. Greg Merson, Jesse Sylvia, Kevin Pollack! Watch the big names play for big bucks!
