The world of poker is still behind a monitor, but that means SCOOP numbers are bigger than ever. Mike Watson had a commanding weekend winning another title. Meanwhile, David Benefield talks the world of high stakes poker, and Marle Cordeiro is back to vlogging. We have all those stories and more in this – the weekend Hit and Run.

Watson Dominating in SCOOP

Most players dream of winning one SCOOP title in their lifetime. Well, Mike Watson almost won two in one day! Mike finished second in the SCOOP-65-H $1,050 8-Game event to eventual champ Noah “Exclusive” Boeken.  Watson came in as the chipleader, but wasn’t quite able to seal the deal and took home $29k to Noah’s $38k.

However, Watson came roaring back later in the SCOOP-66-H and won $80k in the process. Here’s a look at that final table courtesy of PokerNews:

SCOOP de jour!

Of course Watson wasn’t the only big winner. The SCOOP-71-H $1,060 NLO8 Turbo 6-Max was won by Joao “IneedMassari” Simao. And whufcmk, DaCus3, and drkamikaze1 all won titles as well. Head on over to the PokerNews hub for the complete breakdown and for more on this year’s schedule.

Today is the biggest day for all events, so be sure to come back to PartTimePoker tomorrow to see who added SCOOP titles to their mantle.
