The poker world is still stuck behind their monitors, but that means there were huge turnouts for tournaments like the WSOP Circuit Online Series. WSOP Circuit Online Concludes
Michael “ParxBigStax” Marder outlasted Shannon “aulophobia” Shorr to win the final event of the WSOP-C series and also a cool $50k!
According to PokerNews “The WSOP.com Online Finale Circuit Series, a 12-ring event online series that runs through June 14 for those in Nevada, New Jersey, and Delaware, wrapped up its ninth tournament on Thursday night. Event #10: $100,000 GTD Online Finale Circuit NLH Monster Stack 3x Re-entry featured a $320 buy-in and easily passed the guarantee with a final count of 507 registered players and 199 rebuys. The 706-entry poker tournament offered a total prize pool of $211,800 that was paid out amongst the top 100 players with a min-cash starting at $444.”

-Meanwhile over on PokerCentral, the team has announced that the new Poker Masters Online Pro Series on PartyPoker. Remko Rinkema reports, “The Pot Limit Omaha series will have a total of 29 different events, all of which will be two-day events, with buy-ins ranging from $500 – $50,000. The best performer in the overall series will win the PMO Pot Limit Omaha Championship, and will be awarded the coveted Purple Jacket and a $50,000 Championship event seat to add to the cash they have already won.”
-Heading over to CardPlayerLifeStyle, the latest article talks about player retention for those new to the online poker space. In the article Robbie Strazynski talks to various experts like Barry Carter, Chad Holloway, Nick Jones, and Alex Scott to get their thoughts on just that.
-In the Garden State, players are experiencing all sorts of great tournament series. And partypoker and the WPT are teaming up again to give New Jersians more to play. USPoker.com reports that “after running successful series on the international platform, on Wednesday the companies announced the launch of the new WPT Online Poker Open for players in New Jersey. The series runs June 21-28 with 12 events plus a $400 championship on June 28 with $300,000 guaranteed. The network includes BorgataPoker and BetMGM and players can participate on any of the three sites.”
-And finally, Sweden’s Sofia Lövgren was able to sit down with Jeff Walsh and PocketFives to discuss quaratine and namely “Good Food, Family Time, and Playing Poker In Pajamas.”
