Four Top Poker Players to Play Heads-up Match on Poker Night on TV
Some of the biggest names in poker will meet up for the “King of the Hill” heads-up match from August 22nd to August 25th at the Rivers Casino in Schenectady, New York. Phil Hellmuth, Doug Polk, Dan “Jungleman” Cates and Frank Kassela are the four players participating in the $50,000 buy-in event. The event is being presented by PokerNight on TV, which fans can watch from twitch.tv/pokernighttv. It’s a winner take all event with first place walking away with $200,000 in cash.
King of the Hill will run from August 22nd to August 23th with streaming on Twitch starting on 3:30 PM on August 22nd and 5:30 PM ET on August 23rd. On August 24th to 25th, an invite-only 7-handed cash game will be broadcast beginning at 3:30 PM ET each day.
Additional King of the Hill events will be held in late September and October.
