The European Poker Tour has been on hiatus since this spring. Now, like many popular live tours, it is being moved online temporarily as EPT Online on PokerStars. The first EPT Online festival gets underway on November 8th.
EPT Online will run from November 8th to November 18th and will run 20 big tournaments with $20 million guaranteed. Buy-ins will run the gamut from $215 to $25,000 high rollers. In addition to the $20 million guaranteed, real EPT Trophies will be awarded to all winners.
PokerStars players can buy-in directly to the tournaments, qualify for satellites or win a part of $3 million in tickets through the Ticket Machine Promotion. EPT Online will be available to players playing PokerStars.com. Those in Southern European regulated markets will be able to play the EPT Cup on November 22nd from France, Italty, Porgual and Spain, a €250 tournament with a guaranteed prize pool of €250,000.

The EPT Online flagship events
EPT Online will kick off with the $1.5 million guaranteed Arena Championship, which players can enter for a $1,050 buy-in. While most of the events will be No Limit, the schedule will also consist of a couple Pot Limit Omaha tournaments, an 8-Game event, and a 6+ Hold’em event. The tournament culminates with a $5,200 $5 million guaranteed Main Event.

Qualify for less (or free)
PokerStars will be awaring thousands of tickets to the EPT Online for free through the Ticket Machine Promotion, with details coming soon from PokerStars. Per usual, PokerStars players can also gain access to EPT Online events through free daily freebuy feeder tournaments as well as satellites.
The mini EPT Online
The schedule will also include what is being called a “replica” schedule of EPT events at 1/100 the original buy-in, which will run alongside the flagship events. Since the events will be 1/100th the size, they will be accessible to a wider group of players. Since all the buy-ins are approximately 1/100th, the first event, which is $1,050 in the main schedule will be $11 in the Mini-EPT Online, but still guarantee $150,000.
The Main Event of the EPT Online will be $55 buy-in event with a $500,000 guaranteed prize.
