2018 WSOP Schedule Released

Last week, a draft of the 2018 WSOP schedule leaked online. Now an official schedule has been revealed by the World Series of Poker. The series is slated to run from May 29th until July 17th at the Rio with 78 bracelets being held. The Main Event will begin on July 2nd and conclude on July 14th. The WSOP will finish off the series with the return of the $1 million Big One for One Drop, which will be held from July 15th to July 17th.

While many favorites are returning there are some notable new events. Among the new tournaments are a $10,000 NLHE Super Turbo Bounty, a $100,000 NLHE High Roller, a $50,000 NLHE High Roller and a $1.5k NLHE with $1 million guaranteed.

ESPN and PokerGo will again provide coverage of the 2018 WSOP. Times will be subject to change based on broadcasting schedule.

– Douglas Kim, who came in 7th place in the 2006 Main Event, is making a comedy show called “Just Doug” about his life. The show — which is hoping to land on a major TV channel, will focus on poker and acting.
