WSOP Hit and Run: Polk Leads $10K 6-Max; Bunches of Bracelets on Tap
Doug Polk leads a stacked final 12 in the $10K World Series of Poker event going on. And four bracelets might be handed out today. Be in the know with today’s Hit and Run.
Event #34: $1,500 Split Format Hold’em: Updates
Jonas Christensen, who has just $2K in WSOP cashes, leads the final eight players. Andre Boyer and Idan Raviv are the players looking for their second bracelets at a final table that includes people from eight different countries. Watch the live stream of the final table here.
Event #35: $3,000 H.O.R.S.E.: Updates
Just three remain on the final day. Two-time bracelet winner Daniel Idema is the short stack, as he goes up against a couple of pros: Kevin Iacofano and Matt Vengrin. John Racener finished fourth and Taylor Paur went out in eighth.
Event #36: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha: Updates
WSOP Circuit winner Corrie Wunstel leads the final 19 players into day 3. Interestingly, Marcel Vonk, Dmitrii Valouev and Kevin Saul all made the final table of this event last year, and are still alive.
Event #37: $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em 6-Handed Championship: Updates
Just two tables consisting of a total of 12 players remain. Not shockingly, it’s a stacked field, led by Doug Polk as he goes after bracelet No. 2. Other bracelet winners in the mix include Paul Volpe, Kevin Song, Sam Greenwood and Mark Radoja. Online beast Fedor Holz, Chris Klodnicki, Olivier Busquet and Byron Kaverman are in search of their first bracelets. Live stream here.
Event #38: $3,000 No-Limit Hold’em: Updates
Nearly 1,000 players turned out for this one, with under 300 returning for day 2. Jesse Sylvia and Maria Ho are among the notables near the top of the chip counts.
Event #39: $1,500 Ten-Game Mix: Updates
Everyone appeared to choose the NLH event, as under 400 entered. There are 90 remaining on day 2, including Eli Elezra, Ylon Schwartz and Owais Ahmed near the top of the leaderboard.
