WSOP: Highlights of the First Half

Chris Grove : June 16th, 2009

lead2The first half of the World Series of Poker is, more or less, in the books. It’s certainly been an exciting series to this point, with a ton of familiar faces and new arrivals alike storming the bracelet podium.

Below you’ll find about two dozen photos that are among our favorites covering the first half of the 2009 World Series of Poker. Some we chose because they captured an interesting or important event, some because they catch a pro in a particular moment, and some because we just liked the way they looked.

Hope you enjoy the photos, and be sure to check out our daily WSOP updates for a recap of each day’s action after it happens. You can also view a growing photo archive for this year’s WSOP there, and more info on the WSOP (including schedules, etc) at our WSOP coverage page.
