WSOP Europe Announces Full Schedule for 2015

Dustin Gouker : May 7th, 2015

The World Series of Poker Europe will be held from October 8-24, with 10 gold bracelets up for grabs, the WSOP announced today.

It was already known that the next World Series of Poker Europe would be held in Berlin in October, but the actual dates and events were not known. That announcement came during the final table of the World Series of Poker main event last November.

The tournament series will be hosted at Spielbank Berlin. The host casino will feature two full floors dedicated to poker, with 90 tables available for tournament and cash-game play.

Among the highlights and new events will be:

  • “Oktoberfest,” a €550 buy-in no-limit hold’em event in Europe
  • A €550 buy-in pot-limit Omaha tournament
  • The €10,450 main event
  • A €25,600 high roller
  • The main event will start on October 18, the first of two days of starting flights.

You can find the full schedule here.

After being held for the first time in 2007 and for the next six years, the WSOP Europe was not held in 2014 as the WSOP decided to implement a “rotational” schedule with the WSOP Asia Pacific. The WSOP APAC was held last year, and will not be contested this year, while the WSOPE will take place.

Berlin is a natural selection for the WSOP as the host of its European showcase, the European Poker Tour.
