One Finn up, one Finn down. Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies had a huge week at Full Tilt’s high-stakes tables, while Patrik Antonius was losing lots of money.
After having an up and down 2010, Ziigmund put together his best week of the year, profiting $990K for the last week at the Full Tilt. The solid week got him out of the negative for the year, and he is now actually up over $300K for 2010.
Also notable among the top 10 players for the week is Gus Hansen, who stopped a three-week streak of losing more than half a million dollars a week. He was up about $300K for the week to help him stem the tide. He put in a lot of volume to turn things around — he played 13,966 for the week to lead all players.
Tom “durrrr” Dwan also checked into the top 10 with $270K.
Here are the top 10 players for the last week (click on any player for more information):
Ziigmund $989,999
O Fortuna PLS $470,991
deprimiert $415,903
superbaldas $378,070

durrrr $270,759
kupkoonkup $243,733
URnotINdanger2 $226,995
gamblegambel $187,073
Meanwhile, Patrik Antonius’ big comeback took a U-turn. Earlier in the year, Antonius was down about $3 million. But over the summer he slowly worked his way back, until he reached about a million in profit. But he turned that around quickly in one week, giving back $1.2 million over the course of just over 8,000 hands. He’s in the red again for 2010, down about $300K.
Phil Ivey also had a bad week, coming in second behind Antonius with just under $1.2 million in losses. It was his busiest week in months, with more than 9,000 hands played, but it turned out to be his worst week of the year.
Also notable? Brian “sbrugby” Townsend was down about $400K. More on him later in the article.
Here were the bottom 10 players for the week:
Patrik Antonius -$1,287,182

Jani Vilmunen -$147,520
Luukie21 -$147,029

Dwan’s profit for the week pushed him back over the $4 million mark in profits for the year. He held on to the top spot in the yearly rankings, as he has for much of 2010. After Ivey’s fall, jungleman12 moved up to second place for the year. This week, Dwan and jungleman12 began the “durrrr Challenge,” a 50K-hand prop bet between the players. Whoever is in profit after that many hands is the winner.
Harrington25 also moved up to third place on the strength of a net profit of $300K this week.
Here are the top 10 players for all of 2010:

Townsend, who changed names when he ended his Full Tilt sponsorship earlier this year, is now approaching $3 million in cash game losses for the year between his “Brian Townsend” account and the sbrugby account.
Much of the bottom 10 remainined the same, as Gus Hansen started to work his way out of that ranking with his solid week.
