Vulcun eSports Offered

In case you are totally new to daily fantasy eSports, you aren’t putting money down to play these games, but instead you are putting money on how professional gamers will perform against each other. It’s like daily fantasy football but with eSports.

Unlike popular daily fantasy sites such as DraftKings and FanDuel, Vulcun does not offer contests for athletic sports. Vulcun instead offers contests in five different eSports, and allows you to draft the best professional gamers at League of Legends, Counterstrike: Global Offensive, Defense of the Ancients 2, Call of Duty, and Hearthstone.

These video games, which range from multi-player arena video games to first-person shooter games, allow fans of these competitions to draft their favorite professional gamers and compete against other fans of the eSport.

How Vulcun Works

Vulcun works much like any other daily fantasy sports site. You select a contest from a list of contests that are available at Vulcun — Tournaments, Head to Head, Winner Take All and 50/50s. You can buy-in with cash or with Vulcun Gold.

Once you join a contest, you draft a team of eSport players for a specific game (League of Legends, Call of Duty etc), and must stay under a salary that has been determined by Vulcun. The best players usually have the highest salary but your job is to find value and draft the best lineup you can while staying under the salary cap.

Prize pools vary based on the contest. In a head to head to contest, only the winner will receive the prize, whereas in a tournament, maybe only the top 20%-30% will receive a prize with larger prizes paid to those at the top.

The Vulcun Lobby

The Vulcun lobby may be a bit confusing at first to daily fantasy sports users, but it functions in a similar manner. At the top of the lobby page you can sort by available, upcoming or contest results. Below that you can sort by game (League of Legends, Call of Duty) or by all contests.

Within the lobby menu you can also sort by contest type – all contests, tournament, H2H, Winner Take All and 50/50. Once you have selected your contest, you can sort by contest type, prize pool (Gold or cash), number of entries, start time and entry fee.

You can find real money contests for as little as $0.05 up to $500. Contests with Gold buy-ins are also available and pay Gold as prizes. Players can find a little of all types of contest types but for some types, the gaps between buy-ins can be a bit larger than our tastes. The largest, most diverse selection of contests comes from the tournament action.

Vulcun Promotions

Vulcun offers occasional promotions, which you can find by going to the Vulcun website. They do not currently offer a VIP program but give you the chance to earn Vulcun Gold when going to Vulcun each day.

Vulcun Gold

You will also receive daily log-in bonuses of 15 Gold for 1-2 consecutive days, 20 Gold for 3-6 days, 25 Gold for 7-13 days, 30 Gold for 14-29 days and 45 Gold for 30 days or more.
