Poker lost one of its greatest personalities, as Dave “Devilfish” Ulliott lost a battle with cancer. It was just last week that we learned that the World Series of Poker and World Poker Tour champion was ill, and the end came rather quickly. More details here.
Interesting read from Daniel Negreanu, on the subject of luck. For much of his blog post, he talks about the role of luck in golf. Then he transitions to luck in general, and luck in poker. His takeaway? Don’t get caught up in results, and whether you are lucky or unlucky. Accept the results, and move on.
