This week you’ll get some time with Barry Greenstein and the guys from Two Months, Two Million.

The show is certainly well done, and it’s excellent to see ESPN expanding their involvement in poker. That said, the opening sketch feels really labored (again), and the news recap feels really light. Lee obviously knows a bit about poker, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to have something insightful to say for each story, and forcing him to offer analysis on news that either doesn’t warrant analysis (WSOP and ESPN re-upping their contract, for example) or that he doesn’t have an interesting angle on just pads the show unnecessarily. It would also be nice if Lane had a bit more to offer analysis-wise so that she could play off of Lee and improve the general flow of the news segments.

Chances are if it does well it could easily find its way onto one of ESPN’s 2,365 broadcast stations.

Laura Lane and Bernard Lee head up the hosting duties for the forty minute or so newsmag, including what appears to be a (gulp) regular opening sketch-comedy-esque bit.
