Sun Poker review
Sun Poker has spent years developing a reputation as a reliable online poker room with a penchant for generous bonuses. One of a handful of rooms on the Cryptologic network, Sun Poker combines decent software, great promotions, a solid rakeback offer and excellent customer service to create an online poker experience that’s well above the norm.

Traffic
The Cryptologic network has substantial ring and tournament traffic at most hours of the day. Traffic at Sun has certainly dropped off following the passage of the UIGEA, but the room still enjoys traffic comparable to a Bodog or Absolute.
Sun offers a wide range of MTTs, most with guaranteed prize pools. Generally they offer a small overlay at best. The SNG lobby is not very active at medium stakes and above, but games fill up quickly at lower stakes.
Aesthetics
Sun recently launched a redesign of their room which brought with it a much-needed facelift. The room is now brighter and a bit more pleasing to look at. Graphically, the lobby and tables are both fairly minimalist – no 3-D avatars or clutter.
Deposit and Cashout
A full slate of banking options, including Neteller, Firepay, Credit Card, and most other major payment providers.
Support
Sun Poker has one of the best support teams in the industry. Queries receive quick, courteous and informed replies. If quality customer service is at the top of your priority list, you won’t be disappointed.
Unique Pros / Cons
The big upside to Sun is their seemingly endless string of quality promotions that feed lots of cash back into the games. When you combine their generous rakeback offer with their bonuses, you’re faced with a very compelling deal.
Games at Sun Poker are historically weak thanks to the large number of Cryptologic skins that have casinos attached to them.
If you’re really into SNGs at limits above $50, Sun Poker might disappoint. The lack of support for IdleMiner might be a small issue for some players. That said, the room has a lot more going for it than against it.
There’s also something to be said for having the knowledge that your deposits and game security are backed by years of incident-free experience.
