Sonheimer Wins First Poker Masters Final, Purple Jacket
Steffen Sonheimer continued his dominate run at the Poker Masters by taking down the most prestigious event of the series – the $100,000 Poker Masters final. With the win, Sonheimer also won the purple Poker Master’s Jacket. Due to Sonheimer’s strong performance in the previous events, Sonheimer only needed a second place finish to secure his position as the first Poker Master’s Jacket winner.
The Jacket was well deserved as Sontheimer finished fourth in event #1, won Event #2 and finished 5th in Event #4, winning a total of $2.835 million over the series. In Event #4, the only tournament Sontheimer did not place, he still managed a 8th place.
