PokerStars’ The Big Game is through three weeks of its run on television. Below you can watch some behind the scenes footage from the show, which includes big stars playing for high stakes with one “wild card,” an online qualifier who sits at the table with $100K.
The poker world loves to speculate about the possibility of a sequal to one of the best poker movies ever, Rounders. While there’s been some talk of that happening this year, there’s been nothing concrete, and this interview with the original film’s star, Matt Damon, confirms there’s nothing actually in the works. But it at least sounds promising for the future:
