A handy version of a familiar tool. With this replayer you can take hand histories (single or a session) from rooms including crypto, party, stars, ongame and more and have them played back graphically. You control the playback speed, and you can easily move forward and backward through a session. You can also make notes on them, filter a session in a number of ways, and export the result in several formats (including formats compatible with popular forum software).
Look
A nice interface. The graphics are clean and the navigation is pretty intuitive. I do wish the window was resizeable, and the notes box could stand to be a bit larger.
Content Quantity / Quality
This is a great tool. I was happy to find it and I’m happy to tell others about it. If you’re interested in learning more from your hand histories than a numbers-based program like PokerTracker can provide, then this program is worth your time - and it’s free too boot.
The filters for export are handy - you can export only hands that you invested money in, or hands that went at least to the turn, or hands that you have ’starred.’
Unique Pros / Cons
Since the update added support for Full Tilt, I have basically no complaints - I do wish there was a little more flexibility in the application window. That said, this is a free tool, and the fact that it works as well as it does is a pleasant surprise.
Bottom Line
This is one of those tools that will give you back as much as you put into it. If you’re looking to study your past tournament or cash game performance, this is a great tool for doing so - especially when you consider how well it facilitates the exchange of HH’s between you and your poker buddies.
