Look
A well done site. The load time is fast, the look is clean and the navigation is easy to use. The opening ad is a bit annoying – especially if you run two monitors, as it grabs your primary and covers the whole thing AND it replays every time you navigate back to the home page.
Content Quantity / Quality
It ranges from hilariously cheesy to relatively useless to fascinating. The “Poker Show” – a late-night style show done short form – is pretty scripted and forced, but entertaining enough that the lo-fi production values are endearing rather than annoying. Most of the poker news feeds are just clips lifted from local news as opposed to original material. The Poker Updates clips are well done but brief. The most compelling content for me are the clips from the Southern California Poker Tour, where the competition is expressly “amateur”, which makes for interesting viewing as the money really seems to mean something and the lack of polish makes the game feel more real.
Overall, the video library feels pretty thin, giving the site a work-in-progress sort of feel.
Unique Pros / Cons
It contains some content you won’t find anywhere else, and that’s worth something these days.

If you like watching TV about poker, I can’t see why you wouldn’t like this.
