Review of All In Mag.com

Overview
All In Magazine is exactly what it sounds like: a poker magazine. Its website is essentially, well, an online poker magazine. I’m reviewing the website rather than the magazine itself.
Look
It doesn’t look bad, but there’s nothing that really makes the layout too distinguishing, either. I do think its straightfoward layout is better than the one at, say, cardplayer.com. I don’t like how a video starts playing on the front page of the website, though. I find such things annoying and intrusive… why can’t it wait until I click a button before playing the video? But the front page is only a small (if important) part of the site. There are ads, but they’re not too much in the way.
Content Quality / Quality
All the usual stuff is there: interviews, reviews, general news, playing tips. There are sections devoted to poker players and places to visit. There’s a poker blog feature, but it’s mostly just a long list of links. Poker blogs aren’t really that hard to find, anyway. There is a forum, but it’s significantly smaller than many other forums, including those here at PartTimePoker. Finally, of course, you can subscribe to the magazine.
Unique Pros / Cons
Unfortunately, I can’t really think of any. This site just doesn’t distinguish itself enough. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad website, it just has little to recommend it over somewhere else. Of course, there’s nothing (other than time) that keeps you from reading this site AND the other sites.
Bottom Line
Again, it’s a typical online poker magazine. It’s got a a decent layout and a couple of interesting sections, but it’s got little to distinguish itself other than its connection to the printed magazine.
