News from some of the heavy hitters in U.S.-friendly poker sites, and Luke “Full Flush” Schwartz doesn’t like to pay for sandwiches. Some news, some laughs in today’s edition of the PTPN hit and run.

PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge, presumably a response to Full Tilt’s “Face the Ace” television show, will be on TV for the first time on Oct. 11. The show, which pits players against celebrities and pros, is scheduled to air on Fox, and you can get on the show through online qualifiers. More details here.

Absolute Poker is giving away $30,000 in its college challenge. Qualifiers are running now, and the top six players in the main event with play for the top prize, with the table being broadcast on BLUFF Magazine’s Web site.

More on the Full Tilt vs. bots front: one of the plaintiffs in a lawsuit against FTP continues to state her innocence, according to recent reports.

While Luke “Full Flush” Schwartz” has been attacking Tom “durrrr” Dwan of late, his wallet and his stomach have also been at odds. After apparently failing to pay for a sandwich at the EPT London, he was banned for the rest of the EPT season.

If you want to be a big-time poker pro, maybe Brown University is a good place to start. The college paper there ran this story, which talks about a campus game and some of the big-time players who have matriculated there.

As states continue to look for ways to add revenue in trying economic times, Pennsylvania is considering adding table games to its slot casinos, including poker.

While some are considering adding, others are taking away. PND is reporting that Dirty Stack Poker and Propaganda Poker are being booted from the iPoker Network.
