New Poker2Nite, Neverwin loses and Krantz has words for Tom Schneider. It’s our daily summary of all things interesting in the pokerverse for Monday November 30th, 2009.

In a move that we probably should have guessed at when Micon was soliciting developers over Twitter last week, PokerNews apparently pulled the plug yesterday on the long-running poker forum Neverwin. Pokerati’s got a bit more on the story behind the sudden demise here.

Wicked Chops, once a big fan of Jeff Madsen, seems to feel he’s jumped the shark and is asking if he won’t please stop, especially with the rapping (Prahlad is better, really, and poker only needs one rapper – max).

In a bit of slightly more out-there trash talking, Krantz takes Tom Schneider to task in this blog post for – wait for it – Schneider’s harmless hypothetical in a recent PND article that “one of the best poker players in the world might be playing in a $1/$2 game right now.”

Tournament news: The Five Diamond World Poker Classic is underway at the Bellagio. Schedule here. The Sydney edition of the APPT series is about to get underway. Schedule here. Johnny Lodden made a deep run in the Sunday Million but eventually finished 5th for 72k. Full results here

Episode 2 of the Ultimate Bet sponsored show Poker2Nite provides a reasonable bit of competition for Inside Deal on ESPN. The banter is fairly loose, the production values are a little thin and the content is … well, instantly out of date. We write this every day and we’re still out of date, so we sympathize.
