Cole South’s million-dollar day, and Cake buys Cloutier’s WSOP bracelet. We’re four-betting light in today’s PTPN Hit and Run.

Cole South had a pretty good day at the tables yesterday — he won than a million dollars playing mostly Omaha on Wednesday. Even more impressive were his victims: Patrik Antonius and Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies. And, in other high stakes news, Isildur1 was spotted playing some 25-50 today. We’ll let you know if anything more develops from that.

Remember that World Series of Poker bracelet that T.J. Cloutier put up for sale on eBay? Well, Cake Poker is now the proud owner of said bracelet. The price? Just over $4,000. “This was actually done basically on a whim,” said Cake Poker’s Lee Jones, according to the story. “We talked about it and thought, ‘Wow this is kind of amazing. We could find something cool to do with it.’”

And more from Cake here, where their blog talks about the possibility of the World Series of Poker moving from the Rio to Planet Hollywood, which Harrah’s is attempting to acquire. 2+2 thread here. The WSOP has been at the Rio since 2005. We’ll let you know if this gets past the rumor stage.

A story has been coming to light in recent weeks about former stoxpoker.com coach Jason Ho, who, according to allegations, isn’t very good at poker or coaching poker but has gotten paid a lot of money to do both. Story here at pokernewsdaily.com. And a 2+2 thread here. Ho has been banned from stoxpoker.com, and his personal Web site has been taken down.

A look at what’s going on in the online poker world here, with a cardplayer.com report. It includes an interview with William ‘imahustla1’ Givens, who has been on a sick run of late. Don’t ask us why the host has a giant pile of chips in front of him. We don’t get it either.

And an interview with Eric “basebaldy” Baldwin here. Baldwin recently gave $200,000 to his alma mater’s baseball program.
