A member of parttimepoker.com took down an event in the final day of FTOPS XVI, as “Dihxm” won Event No. 28, a $256 no-limit hold’em 6-max knockout event.
Dihxm took the top prize of $165,520 and won his first FTOPS gold jersey. The Swedish player ended up going to heads-up play against Peter “number1PEN” Neff for the title. They cut a deal so that both players were guaranteed to win $140,000, and Dihxm went on to win in heads-up play.
Dihxm won a lot of money for some of his fellow parttimepoker.com members. He put up a “Buy a Piece” ad for the FTOPS event that he won and the $640 main event. In BAPs at parttimepoker.com, members invest money in players for a share of any winnings they earn. In this BAP, Dihxm and his investors split the six figures in winning prize money.
One member turned his $150 investment in Dihxm into more than $21,000 dollars. The smallest investor in Dihxm’s BAP got a return of $840 on a $6 investment.
