Wondering who’s at fault for Face The Ace? A Nevada court has the answer: not Brandon McSmith. McSmith had sued Mori Eskandani (also behind HSP and Poker After Dark), claiming that he had come up with the bones for the widely panned show.

Judge Michelle Leavitt disagreed. Details and some info on why the FBI is horning in on the case at PND here.

The nutty high stakes action on Full Tilt Poker is spilling over well into the week. Isildur continued to be a force for moving money around the table; after taking over a million from Ziigmund, the mystery Swede dropped a huge chunk of it back to Brian Hastings (among others) and ended up realizing only $180k or so for the session.

Meanwhile, Tom Dwan continued his excellent start to 2010 with some play in the durrrr Challenge. Read the overview from DC here; summary is that Dwan cruised to a $350k-ish win, leaving him $1.75 million up with about 17k hands remaining.
