An EPT winner, Isildur boosts his bankroll and losses for Party Poker. Those stories and more in our daily dash through the pokerverse, the PTP HNR for 3/8/10.

A fairly wild weekend, with the dominant story being the robbery at the EPT Berlin at the start of the weekend and the National Heads Up Poker Championship at the end. If you don’t mind a spoiler for the NHUPC, read our coverage of the final match here.

In other Stars tournament news: LAPT Vina Del Mar has been canceled due to the earthquake in Chile. The Sunday Million, however, rolls on, and here’s your final table lineup (with finishing position) from March 7th:

1st place: MAE9690 ($260,000.00)*
2nd place: camillo30 ($176,959.80)*
3rd place: reelhugefish ($150,000.00)*
4th place: asturiano ($150,000.00)*
5th place: AA TURON AA ($80,984.00)
6th place: over.be ($60,738.00)

Not bad for a day’s work. More weekend winners: Tom Dwan, who racked up $1.1 million and change in wins. That’s including a small loss in the durrrrr Challenge (about 1k) over 4 hands. Zigmund and Isildur were also on the right side of the victory column, managing to add $489k and $390k to their bankrolls respectively.

Slightly worse returns were in the cards for Party Poker, who reported a sharp drop in profit for 2009: a $26.5 million loss compared to a $66.9m gain in 2008.

More losing: Three Fort Wayne, Indiana men who now face criminal charges in connection with a charity gaming operation that officials say was run as a for-profit casino. Details from local news here.
