We’re not sure who Andras Koroknai is, but he won $1.7 million for taking down the World Poker Tour L.A. Poker Classic $10,000 main event. He’s from Hungary, a country not often heard from on the live poker scene.
We don’t know who Isildur1 is either, but he’s playing a lot of poker again. The unknown Swede logged more than 13,000 hands in a 24-hour period, with profits of about $300,000.
Tiger Woods is apparently not too desperate for sponsorship opportunities yet. He turned down $75 million over five years to sign on with paddypoker.com. TMZ story here.
