From Busto to Robusto, episode two, is free for one day. And more on the future of poker with the Poker Players Alliance director. Another day, another PTP Hit and Run.
You can watch the entire second installment of “From Busto to Robusto,” a documentary on poker, on this site for exactly one day, for free. The video will be taken down at midnight Pacific time. So if you want to watch, make some time today. Here’s a 2+2 thread from the creator and the plans for the future of the series, which received a lot of buzz after the first episode was released.
Poker Players Alliance Executive Director John Pappas did a longish interview with cardplayer.com, and part two of the interview is here. Part one here, if you missed it. That’s kind of the $65 million question. No one can predict what will happen to the marketplace. I suspect that it’s going to become more difficult for players to get on and off their accounts, although the UIGEA would not affect payouts, it would only affect deposits. It might be a little harder, and those obstacles might keep the casual player off the sites, so I think you’ll see less play and less opportunity because the lesser skilled players, who might be new to the game, aren’t going to jump through the hoops to get money onto the sites.
We hadn’t seen any interviews with World Poker Tour Bay 101 Shooting Star winner McLean Karr until today. So here you go:
This Sunday marked a new series of tournaments on Ultimate Bet, called Second Sundays. You can win things like tournament entries and cash, but you are also giving to charitable organizations at the same time
