Joe Sebok puts the UB superuser scandal to bed, and The Grinder and basebaldy do interviews. It’s all in today’s PTP Hit and Run.

Joe Sebok speaks, people listen: A recent story over at wickedchopspoker.com about the UB superuser scandal (read that here) prompted a lengthy blog post from UB’s Joe Sebok, who has often been the frontman for UB in the aftermath of the scandal. He addresses a lot of the lingering issues, and by the time he’s done, Sebok is ready to move on from the scandal. An excerpt: “When I signed with UB I wanted to be a part of something moving forward. I knew that there was unfinished business from the past though to be dealt with and thus I set upon trying to handle that first. I believe that, as much as it can be done, we have done that. I don’t know any other way to make things right with the scandal from the past. I wasn’t there when it happened and I can’t provide those answers always, but I truly believe that we have done all that we can do here. I know a lot of you out there will never be satisfied and I commend you for your dedication. I really do. Something terrible happened and I understand anyone’s decision to never come back. I, however, think it is time to look to the future of UB, rather than continuing to live in the past.” Will that really be the last from Sebok/UB/anyone else on the issue? Only time will tell.

Interview with a November Niner: We’re not sure there’s much new material to go over with Michael Mizrachi, the most well-known and most-interviewed member of the World Series of Poker main event final table. But did one more interview ever hurt? Nah. Here he is at the Merit Cyprus Classic:

What’s the deal, basebaldy?: Eric “basebaldy” Baldwin, who’s been having a pretty good 2010 at the tables, was the featured guest on this week’s Inside Deal at ESPN.com. It’s mostly chat – don’t expect any advanced poker strategy discussion. Baldwin is still No. 3 in BLUFF’s current power rankings, behind Jason Mercier and Sorel Mizzi. Check those rankings out here.

Under the Gun: Card Player TV show “Under the Gun” is back with another episode. This week, a chat with poker pro Joe Tehan. Enjoy:

Nude poker tournament?: A resort on the French Riviera will be hosting a nude poker tournament, which sounds pretty hot until you consider the fact that 95% of the players will probably be men. Read more here.

What’s going on Jersey?: Remember that push to legalize intrastate online poker in New Jersey? What happened with that? Not much, apparently, as the effort has stagnated. Bottom line is don’t expect this to happen any time soon, or before there’s more action on federal-level legislation.

Seized poker money: The U.S. government has seized $13.3 million from companies run by Ahmad Khawaja that processed payments for online poker sites. The seizures were apparently made under the auspices of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. Read more here.
