Gus Hansen’s downswing, and the durrrr Challenge gearing up? Read all about it in today’s PTP Hit and Run.
Gloomy Gus: After two straight weeks of losing $700,000 at Full Tilt’s cash tables, much has been written about Gus Hansen, who is now down more than $7 million since 2008 at the online poker site. We particularly like the title of this one, courtesy of wickedchopspoker.com: Someone Needs To Hide Gus Hansen’s Computers.
Durrrr Challenge II set to start?: Tom “durrrr” Dwan vs. jungleman12 in a 50K-hand challenge seems close to starting, after some recent chat at the tables between the two players. More here, and some of the chat below:

jungleman12: ?
durrrr: and say that its cute u think u’ll ever have an edge =)
jungleman12: lol

A winner in Estonia: The opening event of this season’s European Poker Tour is over, and a Team PokerStars Pro, Arnaud Mattern, just missed his second EPT title. Instead, it was Norwegian online qualifier Kevin Stani taking down the title and the top prize of €400,000. Here’s an interview with the winner:
FTOPS comes to a close: The FTOPS tournament series at Full Tilt Poker ended on Sunday. If you want to read about what went down, read more here. Mike “chapmoney” Chappus, who won two events during the series, locked up the player of the series title and won a custom avatar.
More Sunday happenings: Besides FTOPS, there was a normal slate of online majors on Sunday. Here’s what went down in the biggest tourneys of the day. Newly minted PokerStars Pro David Williams won the Sunday Second Chance for $58K. Small potatoes for him, we’re sure, but still impressive, since we don’t see PS pros winning Sunday majors that often.
Bond18 on bet sizing: Tony “Bond18″ Dunst did an interview for Card Player TV, which you can watch below. He gives you some free, quick strategy on making your bets the right size for optimum value:
Holy cow, it’s kevmath: If you ever read 2+2, you probably know who kevmath is. He’s the uber-helpful staff member who seems to break down/organize/report on major issues facing the online poker world. Anywhere here’s an interview with kevmath, talking mostly about recent findings on the UB scandal, for poker forum geeks:
