Review of Tournament Reporter .com

Tournament Reporter takes a staggering amount of tournament information and then makes it searchable it by player results, more or less. The tool does a nice job of presenting information across a variety of metrics and seems to be fairly up to date.
Look
A nice looking page - a bit on the busy side, but that’s a minor complaint at worst. The navigation is clean and well-designed, the core features are easy to access, and the color scheme is easy on the eyes. Very few ads - thanks, tournament reporter
Content Quantity / Quality
The general consensus is that the information in the database is pretty up-to-date. My own results were lagged by a few days across multiple attempts, but I’d expect some holes in a project with this kind of scope. The information that you get is a bit more useful for pegging your own game than the game of others, but I’d expect that to change as this project evolves.
Unique Pros / Cons
The fact that stats only go back 60 days really hampers the quality of this tool. Tournaments are high-variance by nature, and that’s just not much of a range. One big win is going to skew your results.
On the plus side, the auto-email function and the level of customization is a big plus.
Bottom Line
This seems like the beta for what will eventually be a really powerful tool. I’d interested in following this one and I think you will be too.
