Overview
Poker Helper is a solid entry in the ever-growing world of online poker sites driven by original content. Visitors to PH will find a good selection of poker strategy articles, updated poker news, and information about freerolls and various bonuses.

Look
I like the look - it’s got some bold colors but they’re coordinated well and don’t do anything to distract you from the content. The layout is fairly solid, and while there are a couple of ads, they’re placed well and not overbearing. The navigation is well-designed, and you can access just about any point of the site from within any point in the site. Another clean design from the folks at Vbulletinskinz.com

Content Quantity / Quality
The news articles are a mix of original writing and pulls from the wire - either way, it’s a fairly good sampling of what’s going on in online poker and worth at least a quick check of the headlines.

The core of this site is the strategy articles, and there are some real winners here. The star of their lineup is Tony Guerrera, author of Killer Poker By The Numbers. Tony offers up some well-written, unique articles with insights that go above and beyond your typical online poker article.

The forums are a little under-populated, which can be good or bad depending on what you’re looking for.

Unique Pros / Cons

Bottom Line
Worth it for the articles alone. Visit and bookmark to check for new ones, and read the news while you’re there.
