Review of Poker Hand Converter

Related Articles
The Poker Hand Converter is a fairly robust, simple to use tool that allows you to take text-based hand history files and convert them into formats more friendly to the eye. Neil’s hand converter has a number of options that allow you to control the output and format of your hand histories.
Look
Clean and simple to use. The hand converter is basically a one-page tool, so navigation isn’t much of an issue. The main page contains just about all of the information you need to use the tool, along with updates and feedback channels
Content Quantity / Quality
The converter works pretty darn well, and the list of supported sites is impressive. The list of options (both for formatting and for content) is extensive. Format options include formatting for specific forums, for plain text, for CSS, for HTML, among others. Content options include adding pot sizes, pot odds on particular streets, stack sizes, and more.
The converter supports NL and limit ring, NL and limit tournament, and (tentatively) PLO and PLO/8.
Supported Hand history formats include:
* Poker room skins
* Party Poker
* Poker Stars
* Absolute Poker
* Prima Poker
* Paradise Poker
* Ultimate Bet
* Cryptologic
* Full Tilt Poker
Unique Pros / Cons
The Poker Hand converter is a great tool, but it’s also more or less a one-man show. Rooms are constantly changing HH formats, meaning the converter can easily ‘break’ without notice, and the sheer volume of interest in this tool means you might have to submit a hand a few times to get it through during peak traffic hours.
Bottom Line
A great tool that lets you get more out of hand histories. Bookmark it.
