Players on PartTimePoker got the new year started off right by delivering another spectacular month for backers, with several hundred thousand dollars in cashes, including deep runs and straight-up wins in several major events.

PTP’ers wasted no time piling on scores. In the first week of January, Jpips took 5th in the Stars 50k for $5.5k, Wisconsinfan made both final tables of the Big Double on Full Tilt for a $6.6 win and NBFB42 had a similar score on Full Tilt, taking 2nd in the 50/50 for a $6k payday. That set the stage for a string of five-figure scores, started off by Indariva taking down the $100 rebuy on Ultimate Bet for $24k+, MSUSR24 pulling a 2nd in the $55 rebuy on Stars for $26k and TeddyRowe9 managing a 7th in the Stars sunday $500 for $15k.

The second week of January was more of the same – King Linc got the ball rolling with a 2nd in the $8r on Stars, good for $7.6k. TurnRiva answered with a 5th in the UB 200k worth $10.9k, and allofit29 won the $35k on Full Tilt, bringing home $8.8k for his backers. At the PCA, drkamikaze won the 1k Limit Holdem event for 10k, while kurt23x and Gridironjesse both had success in the Full Tilt 50/50, with 2nd and 3rd place finishes worth 6.5k and 5k, respectively. Fulmer08 cashed for $12k in the Nihtly Hundred Grand on Stars and piled on a 4th in the 40k on Stars and a 2nd in the $109 turbo on Stars for another $11k+ in winnings. Jpips wrapped up the week with a win in the $501r1a on Stars worth just a shade over $5.5k.

That’s a strong half-month, but PTP didn’t let off the gas as the second half of January began. SNGWizard pulled a 2nd in the Stars $109 for an $11k score, Krswon made good on his name in the $35k on Full Tilt and took home $9.3k for his effort and Allofit29 took just about all of it in the $55 rebuy on Stars with a 2nd place finish good for $30k.

Jpips kept his hot month going with a win in the AP 20k worth a $7.8k bankroll infusion and then followed up with an astounding 2nd win in the same tournament for $10k. Indariva quickly raised the bar with a chop of the 60k good for $15.5k. mthigpen947 broke out with a $7k hit in the 50/50 on Full Tilt, Dwilliams followed with a $5.1k victory in the Stars $20k and Madhattersho and ChristaBorg capped it off with twin wins on FTP – $7k for the Daily Thirty Grand and $5.8k for the $23k KO, respectively.

In the last week, things really kicked into overdrive. Loddar_M went on an absolute tear – a 2nd in the Stars 80k, a win in the Full Tilt $25k and another win in the Early Double on FTP for a shade under $28k in total cashes. Right on the heels of that blistering performance came NaldS2 with a chop of the Stars $3R for $7.2k, Lookoutdudes with a 4th in the Stars $50R for $15k, STLPride with a 2nd in UBOC 9 for $5.5k and galaxitro, whose 3rd in the $84k on FTP earned him a cool $10k.

Turns out that hot start was just the tip of an iceberg of cash: xUnLuCky.x managed a 2nd in the Full Tilt $40k ($6.2k); FearyLoathing and TheTender31 chipped in $5k and $7.8k wins on Full Tilt and Stars, respectively; Cardsfan04 won the $10k Cashout on FTP for $8.6k and The German Terminator dispatched all but 2 of the field in the $50k on Full Tilt for a $5.3k payday. PokketKings chopped the 80k on Stars ($15k), Gridironjesse took 2nd in the FTP $50 cubed ($6.1k), Justin5881 won the UB $215 PLO ($5.3k) and Whynnkid’s 3rd in the Stars $11R ($9.3k).

Closing out the month as strong as it started, Ccuster911 won the $50k on Stars ($20k), kicking off a string of five-figure cashes, including: terrellk11’s 2nd in the FTP $163 turbo ($26k), WebGuySteve’s 5th in Borgata Winter Open #14 ($10.4k), Justpartime6’s win in the FTP $64k ($14.3k), Probrdr94’s 4th in the FTP Friday Night Fight ($19.6k), ruNVMme’s take down of the $30k on Stars ($12k) and last but not least, TheTender31’s win in the fifty hundo on FTP ($18.4k).

Finally, a serious shout-out to melissa2141 and indariva, who both won the Pocket Fives Triple Crown in January.

Congrats to all of those players and their backers, along with any names we may have omitted.
