The February 2016 Gaming Revenue Results were released by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE) at 2:00 PM Monday, March 14, 2016.

Despite the dire consequence that continue to unfold from the State Capital in Trenton, gaming life goes on in Atlantic City. The rhetoric regarding the takeover of the City by the State of New Jersey continues with early April as the “drop-dead’ date.

The huge loss of Revenue from the high of $5.2 Billion in 2006 to the $2.56 Billion in 2015 reflects the downward spiral of the city’s finances, and the perceived need to ADD 2 new casinos in the northern part of the State. This appears to be inching forward, and will be in the form of a ballot question in November when New Jersey residents will be asked for approval.
