Viktor Blom, aka “Isildur1” won about a million dollars playing fixed-limit Omaha hi-lo on Thursday, according to a report from HighStakesDB.

It was an amazing run for the Swedish pro, who often drives the action in the online high-stakes games. Blom’s big winnings came at PokerStars, according to the HSDB report:

Unfortunately, HSDB’s FLO8 tracking for yesterday morning was disrupted, and as yet we are unable to clarify the results from the lengthy ring games. However, a conservative estimate would put Blom up around $200-$250k from those sessions.

Our tracking has been fully functional since yesterday afternoon, however, since when the Swedish phenom has put in another 9.5 hours play, and won (so far) another $700k playing against the likes of Kyle “KPR16” Ray, Ravenswood13, Patrik “Fake Love888” Antonius, NoelHayes, Matt “MUSTAFABET” Ashton, and Jason Mercier.

Despite the run, Blom is probably about break-even for the year or perhaps a little bit up playing online, depending on how many results were missed. According to HSDB’s tracking, he is down about $700,000 on Full Tilt, and up $600,000 on PokerStars. For his entire career, he is down about $5 million across the two online poker sites.
