poker_faqThe World Series of Poker supports pre-registration, meaning that you can register for any given event well before that event starts.

There are several benefits to pre-registration. There’s something nice about knowing that your seat will be available no matter what. In events with multiple first days, pre-registration allows you to choose what first day you play on, which can be a real benefit if you’re on a tough schedule.

You also don’t have to worry about walking around with a fat bag of cash in Vegas, which can be stressful and annoying. Finally, pre-registration means you won’t have to stand in long lines to buy in – you just show up at will-call, flash your ID and you get your entry.
