Poker Players Alliance Renews Push for Regulation via Barton Bill
Using the anniversary of Black Friday as a back drop the Poker Players Alliance has renewed their push for mark up of what is considered the best path for regulation in the United States for online poker: The Barton Bill. The Barton Bill would provide a Federal framework for licensing and regulating online poker in the United States instead of the state-by-state scenario that seems to be unfolding as Federal efforts stall. In attempt to get back on track the PPA is going all-in with a renewed campaign to get the Barton Bill pushed through the U.S. Congress.
