Negreanu beats Isildur1, lots of Tom Dwan news, and more than 100,000 players in a PokerStars tourney. It’s all in today’s PTP Hit and Run.

Negreanu vs. Isildur1: When we left you yesterday, Isildur1 was owning the poop out of Daniel Negreanu in the SuperStar Challenege at PokerStars, again. By the end of the match, though, Daniel had stormed his way to a small victory of $26,500 in the second week of the challenge. Of course, he still lost $150K to Viktor Blom last week. Get all the details at PokerStars blog here, or read Daniel’s blog here.

Watch the end of the match below:

The next match is already set for Sunday, and Isildur1 will take on Scott ‘urnotindangr’ Palmer. Those two have been going at it of late, anyway, with Blom winning for the most part. Should be entertaining.

Sunday Storm: The newly named tourney at PokerStars had 113,000 entrants, and the winner, with an $11 buy-in, took down more than $200K for first place. Story here. Also congrats to a PTP member, Lucksshadow7, who finished fourth for $45K.

Opinions galore: A couple of op-eds out there in the pokerverse. First up, who’s the next Phil Ivey? Well no one, really, in our opinion. Although, the op-ed comes up with Tom “durrrr” Dwan as the answer to the question. We’re not sure what the point of the article is, but we do like reading about Dwan and Ivey.

Meanwhile, the online poker world continues to try to make sense of Zynga. The latest here.

Speaking of durrrr: That Challenge durrrr promotion at Full Tilt ended weirdly. The competition was a series of promos and tournaments to get a chance to play Dwan for $1.5M. The person who won the chance was disqualified, somehow, and someone else took his place. Story here. Regardless, Dwan crushed the final player’s soul and he won nothing. GG.

Also, he’s going to be giving a poker lesson. Read more at 2+2 here.
