Daniel Negreanu hammers Full Tilt Poker’s Howard Lederer and Chris Ferguson, and online poker regulation has to wait in the United States. It’s all in today’s edition of the PTP Hit and Run.
Negreanu doesn’t like Full Tilt: After watching Daniel Negreanu’s latest video blog, we get the idea that he’s not a big fan of Full Tilt Poker. Read about what he said here (he calls Howard Lederer et al scumbags and weasels), or you can just watch the video below (skip to 5:55):
And fellow pro Matt Glantz piles on here.
Online poker regulation? Not right now: The United States won’t have online poker regulation in the immediate future, after a report that regulation won’t be tacked on to a payroll tax bill in Congress. Get the full report here. This isn’t the end of things for regulation, in fact, the fact that lawmakers are even talking about adding it to other bills is a step in the right direction for online poker players in the U.S.
Meanwhile, Nevada moves full steam ahead on online poker regulation, with two different companies applying to test and certify online poker games. More here.
Mercier on top: Jason Mercier has taken over on top of the Global Poker Index rankings. Read about the latest GPI here. Meanwhile, Jonathan Duhamel is on top of BLUFF’s power rankings, which you can check here.
