New federal bill to regulate online poker in the U.S.: Yep, maybe. This time, a bill similar to the failed Harry Reid bill could be put forth by a Republican. Read the details of the effort expected to come later this year.

In other good news for online gamblers in the U.S., one of the staunchest opponents of online poker and gambling, Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.) will be retiring in 2012. He was one of the driving forces behind the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. Story here.
