Phil Ivey takes down the Super High Roller event at the Aussie Millions, Patrik Antonius eats Big Macs for a prop bet, and Zoom Poker at PokerStars. It’s all in the weekend edition of the PTP Hit and Run.
Aussie Millions:Someone named not Phil Ivey won the Aussie Millions. Ivey’s deep run came to a close in 12th place. Oliver Speidel was the champion, taking home 1.6 million AUD. Recap of the main event end game and the other events that wrapped up here. Video below:
Ivey quickly bounced back with a win in the $250K super high roller event. You can check out a report here. He won $2 million AUD; Patrik Antonius and Gus Hansen were the only other players to cash in the event. Daniel Negreanu and Tom “durrrr” Dwan were among the 16 entries who doled out a quarter of a million dollars.
Zoom poker at PokerStars: Report here says PokerStars is close to rolling out a public beta of “Zoom Poker,” which apparently is similar to Rush Poker at the now closed Full Tilt Poker. S why did it take PokerStars almost two years to develop a product Full Tilt had back in 2010?
Rewind: Check out the top poker videos of the week, including Phil Ivey, Jonathan Duhamel, and Bertrand “Elky” Grospellier. And Patrik Antonius trying to down three Big Macs for a prop bet:
