Garden City Group Confirms $33.5 Million in AP and UB Refunds

On Friday, former Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet players began to receive confirmation emails that refunds will be issued within the next 4-6 weeks after the submission of player banking information. The announcement marks the first round of Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet refunds. The Garden City Group, the company that is administering the refunds, has announced that almost $33.5 million will be refunded to the first 7,400 petitioners. According to estimates from US Poker, roughly $10 million remains available to pay any additional claims.

Players can get more information about the remission process from AbsolutePokerClaims.com. If you are a former Absolute Poker or Ultimate Bet and had a balance when they went offline over 6 years ago, you may be eligible for a refund. Players have until September 7th to file a claim.
