PokerStars $25 Million Winter Series Starts on Christmas Day

Christmas may be around the corner, but that’s not stopping PokerStars from holding one of its largest series ever. The two week long Winter Series will begin on Christmas day and award $25 million in guaranteed prizes from December 25th through January 7th.

The Winter Series aims to attract players of all bankroll levels with micro, low, medium and high roller events ($5.50 to $5,200). Main Events will be held on January 7th, with four Platinum Passes awarded to 2019’s PokerStars Players Championship.

Players can qualify for Winter Series events through satellites, Spin & Gos, and through the New Year’s Eve Magic Freeroll on December 31st.

partypoker Announces Return of Online MILLIONS

Not to be outdone by PokerStars, partypoker is announcing another big tournament of their own.

After a successful run this December, partypoker is bringing back partypoker Millions Online. This time the poker room will quadruple the guaranteed prize pool from $5 million to $20 million and give players all year to earn their seat.

Players will again be able to buy-in for $5,300 or qualify through of satellites and other methods. Beginning February 5th, partypoker will award a $5,300 seat to the 10 players each week from the partypoker Millions Online Leaderboard. Positions 11 to 20 in the leaderboard will receive $22-$530 satellite tickets

partypoker will also award seats during parytpoker Live events in 2018, starting with the top 10 finishers in the Kings Casino for MILLIONS, to be held in Germany this February.
