The second is Daniel Negreanu espousing the view that it’s easier to beat poker than it was in the 1990’s.

The idea that it's tougher to make money in poker today than in the "old days" couldn't be further from the truth. So much easier now.

- Speaking of Doug Polk, the high stakes cash game legend just picked up his first PokerStars SCOOP title this week.
- PocketFives.com’s Dan Cypra takes a look at the growth the European Poker Tour has seen under the stewardship of Edgar Stuchley.
- Rumors of Caesars (in the throes of bankruptcy) spinning off its interactive division, which includes the World Series of Poker, has some wondering if the 2016 WSOP will be the last one held by Caesars, and in whose hands the brand could potentially end up.
- TI (Treasure Island) has apparently launched a subscription based online poker site. However, it appears the site is only open to players from 25 states at the moment.
