ElkY Joins partypoker.eu

ElkY is back, this time as a sponsored pro for partypoker ahead of the poker site’s launch of a merged European poker network of regulated countries. The former PokerStars Team Pro will represent partypoker.eu when the poker room launches in France and Italy, expected to be later this month.

The announcement comes days after partypoker announced they had been approved by French regulators by operate a shared liquidity site for regulated ring-fenced countries. PokerStars launched their own European poker room earlier this year.

– Erik Seidel, John Juanda and Zachark Clark are suing Seyed Reza Ali Fazeli over a Super Bowl ticket scam in which they lost a combined $1.3 million.

– The World Series of Poker has announced changes to its Player of the Year formula for 2018. The biggest change from last year is that min cashes will be worth much last year. During the 2017 WSOP, players who min-cashed would receive 10%-23% the points the winner did. This year, a min-cash will roughly be worth 5% of a tournament win. PokerNews notes that the winner of the award last year — Chris Ferguson — would still have won the honor with the new point system.
